Silver Eagle Monster Box

The American Silver Eagle is a silver bullion coin issued by the United States Mint. The coins were authorized in 1985 and first issued in 1986. The obverse design features "Walking Liberty" originally designed by Adolph A. Weinman and the reverse features a heraldic eagle designed by John Mercanti.

Each Silver Eagle contains one ounce of 99.9% pure silver. The coins have become popular with precious metals investors and collectors around the world. Since the introduction of the series, more than 200 million of the coins have been sold.

Silver Eagle Monster Box

The Silver Eagle Monster Box refers to the popular bullion coins as they are currently packaged by the United States Mint. The one ounce coins are placed into plastic rolls containing 20 coins each. These rolls are placed into boxes containing 25 rolls each. As originally issued the boxes are closed and sealed with strapping around each length.

Silver Eagle Green Monster Boxes have the benefit of containing bulk quantities of coins. For precious metals investors, purchasing these full boxes usually yields the lowest price per coin. An additional benefit for collectors is that sealed boxes have never been searched or handled by others. That mean the boxes may containing high grade coins, suitable for encapsulating and grading by PCGS or NGC.
